Throwback Thursdays

Late 80s, early 90s, there was a BIG MAN from Brooklyn named CHUBB ROCK. He was on Select Records and he was produced by Hitman Howie Tee. Rap's Richard Simmons, no kidding, that's his GOVERNMENT, Chubb was a child protege, a Doogie Howser-type genius who decided to pursue a career in HIP HOP. He did his thing! I remember breaking a sweat at many a GYM JAM to Chubb's songs. Treat Em Right and the joint that went Man, Woman, Birth...Infinity, Rock That Shit Homie! If anyone can remember the actual name of that jawn, I'll send you a *FREE* HERE FIRST tee! Just The Two Of Us was my shit! This one's for the OLDHEADS! 88ers in tha building!!!!!

Chubbs…everyone in BK knows that Kane and Chubb were Biggie’s prototype emcees; Puff threw in a little Heavy D for good measure. Ya bad Chubbs…yeah man Chubb kept that dance floor rockin’ plus he showed the Bruh’s mad love (Peace to Epsilon Chapter). Chubb’s is still doing his thing, he’s supposed to be coming out with a new joint at the end of the year or in the first quarter. One of the original Hip Hop big men.
